Hey! The Vikings beat the Packers #gotyourattention

Ha! I could not think of an eye catching title for this post. Pretty sure I caught yours with this one! I wont rub it in too much and I'll continue on with the true meaning of the blog :)

I cannot believe how fast October seems to be going. We've been dealing with crazy weather. Some days it feels 90 and then the next day its cold and rainy. I don't know if we've fully gotten the "fall" feel yet. As a family we've been waiting for a great weekend to enjoy some fall activities; apple orchard, pumpkin patches, ect. Because of this weather most of our weekends have been spent inside watching it rain.
This past weekend it was another rainy one, but we made the most of it! Kynzley was suppose to dance in the high school football half time show on Friday night, but thanks to mother nature the dance was moved in doors. The routine was super cute and the girls did great! It's always fun to watch everyone dance, but my favorite part is always watching Kynzley get to dance with her cousin! Kynzley and I are pumped for competition season to start so we can cheer on our favorite dance team!!

 Happy 17th Birthday Zoie
Zoie was such a lucky girl and got to spend two evenings in a row with us to celebrate her birthday ;)

Even though their dance with cancelled the game was still on and these two were not going to miss it. Date night at the football game!

On Sunday afternoon, after the Vikings beat the Packers, the sun FINALLY came out. We took full advantage and headed to a pumpkin patch to find our perfect pumpkins.
 Daddy found his pumpkin

After searching FOOORRREEVVVEERRRRR she finally found the perfect one

Benton picked the first pumpkin he saw as we entered the pumpkin patch.

Fall

We've been busy - nothing new! Weekly we have dance (this week we are doubled up), gymnastics (x's 2), story times, play dates and last minute things the school schedule throws our way.
A couple weeks ago we headed to Viola to attend the traditional Viola Horse and Colt Show. The kids LOVE doing this every year! It's either super cold or super hot for this event. One year we froze, this year it was 90 degrees. No matter the weather everyone always seems to have a great time!

 Ready for the parade!

Back To School

School has started and with that so has a more scheduled daily routine! Kynzley is a big second grader this year! Second grade?! Really?! Why do these years seem to be going so fast?
This year, the first day of school was a complete new slate for us. Kynzley has a new teacher and new classmates. There were a lot of nerves going into Tuesday morning. After school Kynzley was all smiles and could not wait to go back! We are all excited to see what the year brings!!

With the start of school also means the start of a whole new daily schedule. Our monthly calendar is completely full - ev.er.y day! Not only is Kynzley keeping us booked, Benton has started to add his own activities to the agenda. This fall we have dance, gymnastics (X's two!), soccer, story time, sleepovers, trips and every once and awhile a few moments of just family time!

For months Benton has been begging to do gymnastics. The day finally came!

Kynzley and Brylee dancing together again!

First day of soccer! He pretty much dominated the field :)

Last week we helped (okay, Francis helped) set up the hot air balloon. It was a beautiful night and the kids got to enjoy their first ride! It was so fun to watch them go up! As kids, my sister and I got to enjoy the balloon from the air and the ground - it's fun to watch Kynzley and Benton get to enjoy it now too! It is also the balloon that Francis and I were engaged in!

Kynzley got to let go of the balloon - there was almost no wind this night

The house behind the field where the balloon was put up had chickens, Kynzley was in love!

*Bonus pictures*

"Kynzley, we are going to take Brutus for a hike. Can you please get ready?" This was the result!

The whole afternoon these two hung out in the garage - just like this!

Daddy's lap is big enough for everyone

The snores coming from the floor were SO LOUD!
