Viola Days 2013

This past weekend we headed to the farm and took part in Viola Days! We did it last year and had a blast, we just had to do it again this year! Thanks Matt, Micki and McKenna for letting us come and join in on the fun!

I love these two! And they love each other!

The girls with their Nana

All ready to head to the parade! The best candy throwers ever :)

The cars whipped the girls through the corners - they loved it!

They had fun pretending that they needed to check on the cows. At one point we over heard Kynzley tell McKenna that they should sing them a lullaby :)

Fair

Vernon County Fair

This girl is a farm girl at heart!

Some random children asked Kynzley is she wanted to hold a baby bunny - she was all about it!!

She only did this slide about 5 times

She is big enough to do the rides by herself now - where has the time gone? She would give us a thumbs up every time she went around :)

*****School update*****
-Kynzley is loving school! She loves going and every time I pick her up her first comment is always "can I come back to school?" She is making lots of friends :) Mommy is doing great too ;) It tugged at my heart strings last week when I dropped her off and her teacher had to remind her to say good bye to me, lol! She was just so excited to be there and ready for her day to start!

"School is awesome!"

Can it be true?! We have a preschooler?? WOW! Today seemed to be so surreal. Miss Kynzley started her first day of preschool today! It went great!!!!!!! It was a rough day (OKAY, a rough month!!!) for mommy, but the smile on Kynzley's face when I picked her up this afternoon laid to rest all the worries I had! To be honest, I didn't really worry that Kynzley would cry, be upset or want her mommy - I knew she would do just fine with that, I worried that she would have so much fun without me (yes, very selfish of me!!!). I love being part of everything she does and enjoying things along side her. I would break down in tears thinking about how much fun she would be having and the thought of her running to me after school telling me about everything she learned and how much fun she had made me want to fall apart. That sounds CRAZY - I know! I just dont want to miss out on anything in her life, she's still my baby!!!!!!!! BBBUUUTTTTT, as of today I am no longer thinking that way :) YAY! I am excited for this new adventure she's starting!! (And she only goes Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so there is still plenty of Kynzley mommy time to be had!!!!!)

She has great teachers, great classmates and a great school! She made a friend right away on orientation night, they were both excited to see each other this morning :) When we picked her up this afternoon the first thing out of her mouth was "Mom! School is awesome!" Melted my heart, and also made me feel bad that she was saying it while I was hugging her so tight she could barley breathe!

Since Kynzley has always been at home with me we definitely wanted to make this whole preschool experience special. We started out with school shopping! She got her own basket and helped choose all her supplies!

Mr. & Mrs. Bowles {8.17.2013}

Oh, what a beautiful weekend! It was full of love, friendships, dancing, smiles, laughter ..... and the list could go on and on! It was WEDDING WEEKEND! Miss Kynzley Mae was part of an amazing wedding for two amazing people; Mr and Mrs Bowles!

I have known the bride, Dana, for what seems like a lifetime. We have gone to school together since the beginning and have been stayed great friends to this day. I cannot tell you how much it means to me to have friends that love our daughter as much as Francis and I do!

On Saturday, the weather was beautiful, the bridesmaids were beautiful, the venue was beautiful, of course the bride was beautiful and Kynzley was BEAUTIFUL! (I may be bias, but..) She made the most precious flower girl ever!!!! She took her role seriously and succeeded with perfection.

I couldn't find shoes that "wow'd" me, so I made Kynzley's shoes to go with her pretty dress! I LOVED how they turned out!

First time at a salon getting her hair professionally done! She had the best stylist :)

SOOOOOOO CUTE!

I cannot express enough how thankful Francis and I are that you two care for Kynzley as much as we do! We are truly blessed to have you guys in her life!

Just being precious :)

Daddy and Kynzley got lots of dances in!

Having a moment during one of their dances :)

What a special moment! The brides grandparents sang to the bride and groom!

Kynzley outlasted all the children and most of the adults. She finally passed out in the car on the way home at around 12:30am! She can defiantly party with the best of them!
