Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Kynzley had a fun and busy first Halloween. We had plenty of people to visit Ü She went as a pretty lion! She is pretty easy to dress and accessorise; she doesn't mind things on her head or her feet. This was a perfect outfit and it kept her nice and warm - and of course we had to add her bows! Earlier in the day we carved a HUGE pumpkin for a great fall picture! She enjoyed watching daddy clean it out and was ecstatic when we let her play in the "pumpkin guts". She had it everywhere! We had a great day and cannot wait to have many more Halloween's to dress up and carve pumpkins!

Bath Time!!

Kynzley is such a BIG girl! She has graduated out of her bath chair and into the big girl part of the tub! She LOVES it!!! She has always loved bath time, but now she can actually play with her toys and splash, splashing is her favorite! She is becoming very independent, daddy is having a rough time dealing with it  :-)

Best of friends!

Kynzley LOVES her puppy! We are very thankful that he loves her back :-) Kynzley gets SOO excited whenever Cody is around. She laughs. giggles, squeals and makes many other funny noises when she sees him. Cody is a great big (BIG) brother, he puts up with a lot: ear pulling, poking, jowl tugging and screams in the face! They are great together!

Pumpkins for our Pumpkin!

This weekend we spent the beautiful Saturday afternoon at a pumpkin patch/apple orchard! Francis and I have many traditions that we cannot wait to share with Kynzley, one of them being getting pumpkins every fall! She had a great day! She got to see farm animals (goats, sheep, horses, cows) and play in the dirt! She also had her first wagon ride behind a tractor - she found it very relaxing :-)

A day in the park!

Today Kynzley and I spent some of the beautiful afternoon in the park down the street from our house. We attempted the swings for the first time - SHE LOVED IT! She had so much fun that when it was time to go she got upset with me and cried :-( She is very good at letting us know how she feels! I guess we know what we will be doing a lot next summer!

Chicago

This past weekend we visited Matt, Micki and McKenna in Chicago. We had tons of fun! Kynzley loves every chance she gets to be around McKenna. She could watch McKenna run around and be silly for hours -  I have a feeling they are going to be quite the pair when they get older! While we were there we checked out a couple of baby boutiques and gave Francis a good feel of the city (he's never been to Chicago before), we also took in the Shedd Aquarium. We got to see a lot of different types of fish and water life and also took in the dolphin show. Kynzley's favorite was the penguin exhibit. She was able to stand up right next to the glass and the penguin's would swim up and splash right in front of her - she got the biggest kick out of it! We had a great weekend and cannot wait to go back! (I somehow forgot my camera at home - Thank you Matt and Mick for letting me capture some pics with your camera!)
