Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter! Last year Kynzley was only a couple weeks old and Francis was sick, so our Easter was very quiet - this year we went all out!! We had a house full this weekend, Francis' family came down and stayed with us. It was great to see everyone and especially fun to watch the kids play together! Kynzley's ball pit was by far the biggest hit of the weekend. The kids played ALL weekend in it. (Even emptied it more than once Ü) On Saturday night after all the kids were sleeping we had adult time by dying Easter eggs. We had a great time catching up as well as (trying to lol) being creative.

This morning, Easter Sunday, we all put on our Sunday best and went to church. After church we took TONS of pictures of everyone in their Easter clothes. The children cooperated quite well :-) Once we finished "punishing" the kiddies with all the pictures it was Easter basket and egg hunt time!!! It was so much fun watching the little faces get so excited and having such a great time. Kynzley's cousin Owen was the master at finding all of the eggs. It was a great morning! After Francis' family packed up and took off for their long drive home we headed over to Nana and Papa's house for another egg hunt. McKenna helped Kynzley find the majority of the eggs and then we all headed outside to enjoy the weather. It was a great Easter! We hope everyone had an awesome Easter as well!!

Today Kynzley's cousin Zoie came over to play! Kynzley is always excited to see her. They had a lot of fun chasing each other, playing dress up and giggling. Now that Kynzley is walking she has a lot easier time keeping up with the big kids, which makes playing together much more enjoyable. While Kynzley took her nap Zoie and I made some Easter goodies :-) We had a fun day and cannot wait for her to come back and play!

 Oh so pretty!

Lazy days

We had a LAZY weekend! We woke up Saturday to snow :( and cold, which equaled JAMMY DAY! We hung out all day in the basement and played. Kynzley has discovered a new passion --- talking on the phone :-) She walks around with her play phone saying "hewwo!" and "buh, buh (buh bye)" and there is also a whole lot of babble. She's so funny! We were able to get lots of cuddle time in too! This weekend she showed us that she knows where her belly is! It's so much fun watching her grow and learn new things :-)

Daddy got lots of cuddles this weekend

Kynzley found McKenna's sunglasses while we were visiting Nana's and Papa's. She thought she was the COOLEST little thing ever. She walked all around the house making sure everyone saw her.

Pretty sure she put them on herself :)

 McKenna!

Mustache!

Great weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend and we are sad to see it end. It has been and will be one of our only free weekends for a while, we wanted to make sure we enjoyed it!!

Saturday we went to the river and fed the ducks! The water is SUPER high so the ducks that were in the water were actually pretty close to land so it made it easier to feed them :) Kynzley had fun yelling and squealing at the ducks, but she didn't fully comprehend how to feed them. She kept the bread for herself :). We were also able to get in a nice stroll along the river! We finished the day hanging out in the backyard and showing Nana and Papa how much she LOVES to be outside!

Today, Sunday, we spent the day waiting for the storms. The weather seemed to play games with us all day but we still enjoyed it. We ran some errands, stopped to visit Nana and Papa, had a visitor over, finally watched it storm and played with the neighbors. It was a great end to the weekend!

Kynzley's way of feed the ducks - eating the bread herself :)

The people ahead of her walked by while we were stopped at the bench and she decided that she was going to follow them

Cody has been loving the nice weather, he's able to lay outside all day!

 We were watching it pour
