Easter 2013

It was another successful Easter! It was great to have Francis's family down for the extended weekend, the kids had so much fun playing together. We love hosting this holiday!

The weather was beautiful Friday and the first part of Saturday was warm enough to get out and play a bit. The kids (FULLY) enjoyed our slopped driveway - lots and lots of bike races! The little's also took full advantage of the basement and all the toys (they were everywhere!!), but the most popular toy was the balloons still blown up from Kynzley's birthday (go figure!).

Easter morning was a mad dash to get out of the house (7 adults and 5 children), but I am happy to announce that we made the 8:30am church service on time (even early!)!!!!! After church and pictures of course, it was time to find the eggs the 'Easter Bunny' left behind followed by their packed full Easter baskets. Holidays are so fun with kids, the smiles on their face over the simplest things are priceless!

Thank you everyone for traveling down! We had a great time!!

Three Yr Stats

Today was doctor day! Kynzley checked out perfect! She's 34lbs and 3ft 5in tall. She seems to be right on course! Kynzley usually loves to go to the doctor, all week she was telling us how she was going to see Dr. Caron and everything she was going to tell him. This morning when she woke up she didn't seem herself, when she stated crying and saying she "feels perfect I don't need to see Dr. Caron" I knew something was up. After our doctor appointment (of course AFTER) a fever came and now she is one sick little girl :( I am happy to say, though, it's the first fever of the winter!!!!!! We have been pretty healthy this winter (knock on wood!) so I guess we have to take our turn at some point. Hoping for a great night of rest and a spunky little girl in the morning!!!

New things in Kynzley's life:
- completely potty trained!!!!
- great at her numbers (can count to 15, sometimes 20 on her own)
- mastered the ABC's
- if you ask her her name she replies: "Kynzley Mae Icky" (Close enough Ü)
- very much becoming a girly girl
- LOVES princesses
- if we are at home she HAS to wear jammies, refuses to wear anything else
- continues to be very active in the YMCA -- currently in gymnastics
- loves her sweets just like her mommy ;)
- OBSESSED with horses! (pretty sure we will be buying one at some point in our future!)
- tells the truth and is very good at tattling on herself
- still loves sleep and has since she was a baby - we are very lucky!

She's amazing and we are having so much fun watching her grow!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Princess Kynzley!

Kynzley turned THREE!!!!!! Saturday, our house was turned into a fairy castle and five beautiful princesses ran around having a great time together! It was such a fun afternoon :) Kynzley is definitely our little princess, so what better way to celebrate her than having a princess party! I had sooooo much fun planning this party - everything from the decorations, the invites, party favors, shopping for gifts and making sure everything was fit for a three year old princess!

Kynzley woke up to a room full of balloons, daddy and I standing at her door singing happy birthday and a beautiful new princess dress for her party! The smile on her face could melt anyone's heart - she was so excited for her day! At her party her and her friends played, made personalized princess crowns, sang happy birthday, ran around and giggled A LOT!

After an afternoon of princess fun, it was Francis and I's turn to spend some fun time with our "peanut", we headed to Chuck E. Cheese. We wrapped up our day with an evening of opening (more!) gifts, playing with her new games and taking in the fact that we now have a THREE YEAR OLD!

We are SUPER BLESSED to have Kynzley (for those who know our story know why!)!!!!!! We try and make everyday special for her, but there is something about her birthday that makes us remember that crazy day and we squeeze her extra tight!!!!!!

-After Kynzley's three year check at the end of the week I will update on all the changes in Kynzley's life Ü-

Good Morning three year old!

Sporting their beautiful homemade crowns!

"Happy Birthday to you"

I LOVE this picture! She was opening a gift from her friend, Olive, and was so excited to get a matching toy that Olive has!

She is really into games right now! She asked for Pop The Pig - ask and you shall receive!

"Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Kynzley is turning 3!"
"You are cordially invited to a princess party!"
