Say 'Cheese'!

This past spring I won a portrait package provided by a local photographer. Did you know that when you put your information in those 'win this!' boxes you may actually win?! Crazy!
We set up our session for later in the summer and it could not have gone any better! This was Brutus's first professional photo session and going in I was a little nervous. The kiddos are use to posing and smiling and always do their job great! A 150 pound puppy, that could be a whole 'nother story. Surprise to me, Brutus did great! During the shoot Benton's arm dislocated, but he smiled through and was tough until we could get to the doctor to have it put back in.

Thank you Adam Mueller!

Adam Mueller was great to work with! He jumped right in and got to the kiddos level and made them laugh and feel so comfortable! Benton and Kynzley were constantly giggling! They enjoyed the session as much as I did just watching. He was quick with his camera, caught great moments of the kids (and pup!) that we will cherish forever and we seemed to have finished the session in a speedy but flawless fashion!

Hey! The Vikings beat the Packers #gotyourattention

Ha! I could not think of an eye catching title for this post. Pretty sure I caught yours with this one! I wont rub it in too much and I'll continue on with the true meaning of the blog :)

I cannot believe how fast October seems to be going. We've been dealing with crazy weather. Some days it feels 90 and then the next day its cold and rainy. I don't know if we've fully gotten the "fall" feel yet. As a family we've been waiting for a great weekend to enjoy some fall activities; apple orchard, pumpkin patches, ect. Because of this weather most of our weekends have been spent inside watching it rain.
This past weekend it was another rainy one, but we made the most of it! Kynzley was suppose to dance in the high school football half time show on Friday night, but thanks to mother nature the dance was moved in doors. The routine was super cute and the girls did great! It's always fun to watch everyone dance, but my favorite part is always watching Kynzley get to dance with her cousin! Kynzley and I are pumped for competition season to start so we can cheer on our favorite dance team!!

Fall 2017

 Happy 17th Birthday Zoie
Zoie was such a lucky girl and got to spend two evenings in a row with us to celebrate her birthday ;)

Even though their dance with cancelled the game was still on and these two were not going to miss it. Date night at the football game!

On Sunday afternoon, after the Vikings beat the Packers, the sun FINALLY came out. We took full advantage and headed to a pumpkin patch to find our perfect pumpkins.
 Daddy found his pumpkin

After searching FOOORRREEVVVEERRRRR she finally found the perfect one

Benton picked the first pumpkin he saw as we entered the pumpkin patch.

Fall

We've been busy - nothing new! Weekly we have dance (this week we are doubled up), gymnastics (x's 2), story times, play dates and last minute things the school schedule throws our way.
A couple weeks ago we headed to Viola to attend the traditional Viola Horse and Colt Show. The kids LOVE doing this every year! It's either super cold or super hot for this event. One year we froze, this year it was 90 degrees. No matter the weather everyone always seems to have a great time!

 Ready for the parade!
