Sprinkler Fun

Today, after a trip to the park, we cooled off by running through the sprinkler. Kynzley had a BLAST! Mommy even ran through :) We had to take turns: mommy do it, Kynzley do it - we had so much fun! Hopefully the weather stays like this for awhile!!

A break in the clouds!

After raining ALL week the sun finally decided to show itself just in time for the weekend! We, of course, wanted to take full advantage of it. Friday we spent the evening at the park. Kynzley's favorite part of the park  is the merry-go-round. She could push and ride that thing all day :) She also enjoyed some time on the swings, going (up and) down the slides and running around! We LOVE that we have TWO parks down the street from our house!

 She's a strong little thing! She got daddy all the way around by herself. It was fun to watch and listen to her grunt a little too :)

Happy Fathers Day!

It was Francis's second Fathers Day - we had a great day! Francis returned Saturday evening from a week long work trip to Japan, just in time for Fathers Day :) The day was started with a family breakfast at a local restaurant followed by a much needed nap for Francis and Kynzley :) We spent the afternoon playing and running around a very large jungle gym, a trip to an amazing ice cream/candy shop and a stroll by the river. We ended the day with homemade pizza and an evening in the backyard. It was a great end to a good weekend!      **(click pics to view clearer)**

Happy Birthday Mckenna and Olive! Last weekend we celebrated McKenna's 2nd birthday and this weekend we helped celebrate Olive's 1st birthday! They were both a great time!

Surviving The Heat

It was June Dairy Days in our town this past weekend. Yes, we celebrate our dairy :-) It was also Kynzley's first parade! She loved it! It was a warm day, but she did great. She loved the bands - so much she cried and tried to follow them when they kept marching on. She also loved watching her cousin Zoie perform in the parade with her dance/baton group. After the parade we of course had to walk down to the park and get ice cream, wouldn't be JDD without it :-). We wrapped up our afternoon by swimming at Nana and Papa's house. It was a perfect day for it!

Happy Birthday McKenna!! Today we met Micki and McKenna at the Madison zoo to spend the afternoon celebrating McKenna's 2nd birthday. Kynzley LOVED the zoo! She yelled at all the animals and of course made her amazing bear sound when we saw the bears and the lion. Unfortunately, McKenna wasn't too excited to be there :( The animals were "scary". After the zoo we went to lunch, which was way more McKenna's style :) and enjoyed some visiting! McKenna even showed us how well she counts to six in Spanish! It was a great afternoon!
