A campin' we will go!

Our first family camping adventure was a success!!!! We stayed local, just in case Kynzley wasn't a fan, but she had a BLAST! The weekend was great: warm sunny days and perfect cool nights! We spent A LOT of time at the beach (most of the pictures were taken there). Kynzley loved being able to run free outside, play on the playground right behind our camper and of course play with her friend Abby. Some other friends were able to join in on the fun Saturday afternoon too - it was a great time!

This afternoon Nana and I took Kynzley to our local pool close to our house. It doesn't have all the fun slides and fountains that Kynzley is use to but it was nice to swim around and relax in the water.

Sickness is away, it's time to play!

After our trip up north, Kynzley and I unfortunately got sick :-( Thank goodness for daddy - he was a huge help and a great doctor! AND we are sad to report that Kynzley had her FIRST ear infection :-( We made it 16 1/2 months without one - hopefully its her last.

We are finally feeling better and took full advantage of it! Time to get out of the house and play! We had nothing planned for the weekend, except spend it together, and it turned into a busy - but great one! The weather was beautiful so we spent pretty much every waking minute outside. We also spent Saturday afternoon at the beach! We are STILL talking about how CRAZY Kynzley was in the water. She had an audience - people were watching and laughing at how "not scared" of the water she is. She was running and throwing herself under the water and then she would pop up and do it all over again. She was also using her arms a lot to navigate through the water- swimming lessons in action :) Saturday night we built a little fire (mommy and daddy had a bigger one once Kynzley was sleeping Ü) for Kynzley to roast marshmallows. She enjoyed it fully! 

Sunday we had a picnic for Francis' work. Kynzley ate great food and jumped in the bounce house with some of her friends! She even had a little time to play in the park and run around. We wrapped up our weekend with some "hoops" in the basement before bed :-) She had a blast making baskets and slam dunking! The weather is suppose to cool down this week - so EXCITING! Hopefully lots of play time outside!!
