Trick-or-treat
Kynzley had a blast trick-or-treating! We went with our neighbors, the girls have so much fun together! They would run to each house, pound on the door and quietly say "trick-or-treat" :)

Pumpkins, cookies and decorations
Halloween is only a couple days away, we decided it was a good time to get in the mood :) Kynzley decorated the house/doors with Charlie Brown Halloween stick ons, we made (easy, already made {don't judge}) Halloween cookies and ended the evening with pumpkin painting and carving! Kynzley had a TON of fun with all of it! Everyone's pumpkins turned out great - we are all ready for Wednesday!
Yup, practically hanging head first inside the pumpkin! Trying to get every last bit of guts :)
Got it!

Fun Fall Weekend
Oh, my!!!! It was a B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L weekend!!!!!!!!!!! It was the perfect weekend to (finally) do fall activities. Saturday we went to our usual pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. We changed it up a bit this year and instead of a pumpkin for everyone in the family ... including Cody ... Kynzley picked her's and Francis and I got a HUGE one to share! It will be so fun to decorate it! On Sunday we headed to the apple orchard. We are BIG on traditions and it would have been sad if we wouldn't have been able to fit these two things in do to sickness and weather - but we did!

She found the perfect one!
Yes!
Looking for the perfect apple
Beautiful day in the orchard!
These two loved her! Okay, what you don't see is that they LOVE the apple that is in her other hand :)
Not long after the picture was taken the horse finally accomplished his mission. He took the apple right out of her hand

Big News plus some!
Well, the day has come! Kynzley gave her Nuk to the Nuk Fairy!!!!!!!!! We -ok, I decided- it was a good weekend to do it :) I am currently dealing with pneumonia so stay pretty close to home and knew we weren't doing anything where a melt down for the Nuk would get in the way. Kynzley did great and continues to do great! She wrote a letter to the fairy thanking her for giving her Nuk to babies in need. We had a few tears the first night, but nothing since! She's such a big girl!
Placing her Nuk in the envelope
Too bad you can't hear through a picture, she had lots of tears :(
After a successful night without her Nuk she woke up to a gift left by the "Nuk Fairy"
She's in a princess stage right now :) The Nuk Fairy hit it on the head ;)
*Plus some*
This weekend was West Salem's Homecoming! Kynzley, Francis and I attended the parade Friday and Kynzley FULLY enjoyed every part of it. It was a beautiful afternoon, but after walking a little father that needed my pneumonia knocked me out for the rest of the night :( (I'm def ready to feel better any day!!!!!)
