Birdie feeder

A couple nights ago Kynzley made a "birdie feeder" and hung it in our front tree. She stood and called for the birdies for awhile but none came - tonight she had success! She was so excited when she saw a bird eating away -- "mom a birdie eating! A birdie eating my food!" She sprinkled the leftover bird seed around the trees :)

It was a great weekend for a campfire and roasted " 'aashellows "! We packed up and headed out camping this past weekend and the weather was perfect! We all had a great time - Cody even got to join us on this trip :) (Usually he stays behind with Nana and Papa)

These two are such great buddies!!!!

Homemade Spray Paint

Today Kynzley and I expressed our artistic sides with homemade spray paint. It was so much fun, super safe and easy to wash off!!!! We started with spraying the driveway and then moved to a piece of recycled cardboard. Of course, we experimented with spraying ourselves :) So much fun!!!!!

Homemade spay paint
1 Tablespoon flour
10 drops of food coloring
1/2 cup warm water

No fire!

Another camping weekend to add to the books - and this time no fire!!!!! --Backtrack a tad-- Our first camping trip of the season, back in June, ended (or should I say started) in a horrible way. Our camper started on fire :( We made the most of that weekend and joked about the "fire pit", but were very bummed that our summer of camping was over before it really even had a chance to begin.

We have recently got a new camper and are back on track to our summer of camping! The weather   on Friday was great! We spent ALL afternoon at the beach. Kynzley had a great weekend spending time with her great pal, Abby. Even with the rain on Saturday and mommy being out of town for a wedding, daddy and Kynzley still had a blast hanging out and sleeping in the "pamper!"
