Weekend Wrap Up

Who loves this weather? We do, that's for sure!!!!!!! This weekend is what we have been waiting for F.O.R.E.V.E.R! Since we've been waiting so long for nice, warm, sunny days, we packed our weekend full of things we have been wanting to get done. Ufffff - we did a lot! Hopefully the weather sticks around, but it is Wisconsin - anything can happen :-/

Well, hello spring! You do exist!

Oh, what a beautiful day it was!!!!!!! We spent AAAALLLLLL day outside and it felt glorious! Kynzley and I spent the first part of the day at the park. We are grateful to have two parks a block from our house - so much fun! The rest of the weekend is suppose to be just as beautiful, which means we will be spending lots of family time in the sun!

Since the weather is starting to show signs of spring we have been seeing lots of birds. Kynzley has made a bird house (previous post) and today she asked to make a bird feeder. Thanks to Pinterest I had a great idea for one! Tomorrow we will be hanging it in the tree :)

Thinking Spring

Today the weather finally started warming up a bit, and its suppose to continue for the next couple days - YAY!!!! We've been waiting and waiting for warmer temps and to help with being inside Kynzley decided to make a bird house to help spring arrive sooner!

We had the honor of helping our wonderful neighbor, Elise, celebrate her FOURTH birthday on Saturday! It was held at Chuck E. Cheese and everyone had a blast! Kynzley ran around, played games, rode on the rides, danced with Chuck E, sang 'happy birthday', ate pizza, cake and ice cream!

This is where we spend a lot of our time when we are at Chuck E. Cheese - the horse! She is on it so much we have taught her how to mount the horse properly and how to get off properly :)

Weekend Events

This weekend was pretty eventful! Friday night we enjoyed some nachos and tacos at the local high school to support our towns boys and girls club. It was so fun! Saturday, Kynzley had her first sleep over wit her cousin, McKenna, at Nana and Papa's house!!! Oh goodness, did these girls ever have fun!!!! They both decided they wanted to sleep together in the same bed, after a few giggles and stories Nana said they finally fell asleep and there were no issues. It melts my heart that even though these two live far apart they are still so super close and have so much fun when they are together!!!

So, you may call me crazy, but after Kynzley is gone (especially for a night) I want to do everything with her :) After dinner while I cleaned up instead of letting daddy give her her usual bath I convinced her to play in the sink so she could hang with me in the kitchen. She loved it and of course I did too!!!!!!!

Children's Museum

Today it was rainy and cold :( so we spent the morning at the Children's Museum with our great friends, Katie and Olive. Their current theme is Curious George, they had lots of cute displays and activities!

This and That

It was a this and that type of day. We did a little bit of this and a little bit of that :) With the temps as warm as they are we are taking full advantage (Thursday it's suppose to be back in the 30's)! The day started off gloomy, but still a decent temp. We decided that we would should walk to the grocery store and get stuff for cookies! Take advantage of the "warm" weather by walking but an activity indoors just in case it would rain. We made monster cookies! Later in the afternoon the sun finally showed itself and boy was Kynzley excited - OUTSIDE TIME!!!!!! We rode bikes, played a little basketball and even flipped open the sandbox. One of my favorite moments of the day: "mommy, this is fun! (while playing in the sandbox) I love outside and mommy, I love you!" Awe, melted my heart!

Finally!

Yes, yes, yes! The weather is finally warming up! It was the perfect start to hopefully more warmer days: dirty clothes, chalk and some sidewalk paint (aka bathtub paint).
