What a beautiful day to.....DO anything and everything outside!!!

Today was the perfect day to be outside!!! Not too warm, not too cold, just right!!!!!! This morning Kynzley and I headed out and went for a great hike! We are blessed to have so many bluffs and trails around our area. I let Kynzley pick the trail today and of course it was the one that was straight up and down. She was such a trooper and a great companion to have a long. She made it all the way to the top and even had enough energy to rock climb. It was so much fun!!!!!!! On our way down there were LOTS of giggles and laughter! She thought it was fun to slip and slide down the trail. I'm happy I was able to find some warn out clothes before we headed out, they were a disaster when we were done! Oh, it was such a great morning! We followed the hike with a quick stop at the park near by before heading home for lunch.

After rest time it was back outside! Later in the evening we wrapped up our day with some family time at the park. Kynzley requested that we take her soccer ball along so she could practice :) It's so much fun being a kid a long side her and enjoy the little things again .... like the slides!!!!!

Saturday, we attended a wedding and Kynzley had a blast - like usual :) She LOVES to play with other kids and of course DANCE! The girls got moves!!!! She's fun to watch, and I say watch because daddy and mommy are NOT allowed to dance with her! I think we cramp her style ;)

Heat Wave

Oh, Wisconsin! Your weather is crazy! Today was HOT, but it was GREAT! We filled the day with lots of outdoor activities. Kynzley and I decided to pack up the bike and trailer and ride around town to a couple different parks. We spent a great deal running around until the sun hit its peak and all the slides were getting too hot to slide down. After the parks we headed home and decided it was hot enough to get one of the pools out and enjoy some water time (FiNAlLy!!!!!!!)! Kynzley had so much fun splashing! We are defiantly ready for more days like these!

Mother's Day 2013

Happy Mother's Day to the new, the old and the becoming mommy's out there!!!! My Mother's Day was wonderful :) This years gifts were THE BEST! I have gotten amazing gifts in the past (don't get me wrong!), but this year Kynzley made her own gifts for me and it melted my heart. She was so proud of herself and loved giving them to me. Nice work, daddy ;)!

We had a very simple and relaxing Mother's Day weekend. Saturday afternoon was spent getting pedicures and doing a little shopping! On Sunday, Kynzley and daddy let me "sleep in" (it's hard to sleep in when your child isn't a morning person and sleeps in herself) and surprised me with donuts from our local bakery. The afternoon was spent with Nana and Papa and Grandpa and Grandma. They all joined us for lunch!

I am one blessed mommy!!

Daddy made sure to inform me that every aspect of this gift was chose by Kynzley. From the bag to the tissue paper and all of the craft supplies!
