Full Calendar

With school in full swing you would think our schedule would slow down a bit - totally the opposite!! We have been soooo busy! Kynzley has always kept our calendars full, but now Benton is old enough to start adding his activities to our weeks as well. So far we are doing well, no ones been left behind and we haven't forgotten anything. We'll see how that goes when we hit the days that Kynzley has us triple booked.

We wrapped up our summer by doing what we (have become to) love, fishing! Kynzley and I were successful - the boys were not!

Kynzley had her first soccer tournament last weekend! It was so much fun to watch!! The girls did great.

On Sunday, September 11, we participated in West Salem's first Tunnel To Tower 5k Run/Walk. It was a great event!!! Francis got off a plane from Italy, slept a couple of hours and walked/ran the even in full gear along side his fellow firefighters and members of the community.

Back To School

Kynzley headed back to school last week. She's a big first grader this year, crazy! No longer the baby in the school. She's, of course, loving every minute of it so far! Kynzley has always loved school, but this year I think she was extra excited because she is with the same (amazing!) teacher and (awesome!) classmates! Bring on the busy year of first grade!!!

Classmates! So excited to be back together!

The boys and I filled our time with some morning sports the first day of school. Benton complimented my catching the ball often :-)

Ugh! Stop growing!!!! Putting pictures side by side really makes you realize how much your little ones grow and how fast time goes. It also makes you realize how their style changes and they have more of an opinion! This year Kynzley requested nothing fancy, she wanted a white t-shirt and shorts. We agreed on the headband :)

He has gained 10lbs in two weeks (currently 36lbs)

He outweighed Benton two weeks ago - next goal is to outweigh Kynzley 

Such a good pup! Brutus is part of the family and being part of the family means enjoying as much as possible with us :-) On this evening the kids, Brutus and I took a stroll to the park after dinner. It was a beautiful evening and the park was filled with kids, Brutus laid close and watched - unleashed! We try to do as much training off the leash as possible so he understands and obeys his commands. He's doing great so far and we hope he keeps it up!
