Pumpkin Patch

Kynzley had her first school field trip today! Her school took a trip to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkins! I, of course, tagged along .... to take pictures of course :) Kynzley is blessed to go to a great school and one that takes A LOT of field trips. We just sent back a permission slip for a play they will be attending in the future and it was the hardest piece of paper I've ever filled out!!!!! 'How many attending ______' ????????? My head hurt so bad trying to figure this out! Do I give her some space and let her have a field trip with her teachers and friends or do I attend so I can experience her first play?!?! Well, after asking Kynzley herself, the decision was made for me: "I would like to go with my friends and Mrs. Ross by myself. But you can come next time!" So I asked if I could tag along to the pumpkin patch and her answer was "That's perfect!" So it was nice to be able to enjoy today with her...especially because she wanted me there!! :)

Baby Becca

This weekend we traveled north to meet Baby Becca, the newest member of the Thormodson clan! She's such a sweetheart! Kynzley was in heaven having the opportunity to run around with her cousins - there were lots of giggles and screams throughout the house all weekend!

Viola Days 2013

This past weekend we headed to the farm and took part in Viola Days! We did it last year and had a blast, we just had to do it again this year! Thanks Matt, Micki and McKenna for letting us come and join in on the fun!

*****School update*****

-Kynzley is loving school! She loves going and every time I pick her up her first comment is always "can I come back to school?" She is making lots of friends :) Mommy is doing great too ;) It tugged at my heart strings last week when I dropped her off and her teacher had to remind her to say good bye to me, lol! She was just so excited to be there and ready for her day to start!

Can it be true?! We have a preschooler?? WOW! Today seemed to be so surreal. Miss Kynzley started her first day of preschool today! It went great!!!!!!! It was a rough day (OKAY, a rough month!!!) for mommy, but the smile on Kynzley's face when I picked her up this afternoon laid to rest all the worries I had! To be honest, I didn't really worry that Kynzley would cry, be upset or want her mommy - I knew she would do just fine with that, I worried that she would have so much fun without me (yes, very selfish of me!!!). I love being part of everything she does and enjoying things along side her. I would break down in tears thinking about how much fun she would be having and the thought of her running to me after school telling me about everything she learned and how much fun she had made me want to fall apart. That sounds CRAZY - I know! I just dont want to miss out on anything in her life, she's still my baby!!!!!!!! BBBUUUTTTTT, as of today I am no longer thinking that way :) YAY! I am excited for this new adventure she's starting!! (And she only goes Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so there is still plenty of Kynzley mommy time to be had!!!!!)

She has great teachers, great classmates and a great school! She made a friend right away on orientation night, they were both excited to see each other this morning :) When we picked her up this afternoon the first thing out of her mouth was "Mom! School is awesome!" Melted my heart, and also made me feel bad that she was saying it while I was hugging her so tight she could barley breathe! 

Since Kynzley has always been at home with me we definitely wanted to make this whole preschool experience special. We started out with school shopping! She got her own basket and helped choose all her supplies!
